It becomes our sad duty to record another death by that disease cerebral spinal meningitis. Miss Tillis Kampstra, who has lived with J. M. Oggle’s family during the past year, was taken sick last Friday and grew rapidly worse. The disease appears to have attacked her in it most malignant form. And on Monday evening the poor girl breathed her last. The funeral took place yesterday at 1:00 p.m. Rev. Buursma preaching the funeral sermon. Miss Kampstra was about sixteen years of age and is spoken of by all her acquaintances as an amiable and pleasant girl; one whose early death is deeply deplored. Mr. and Mrs. Oggle are deeply grieved at her death as they have given her a place in their hearts almost as much as if she were their oen child.
