Gustavson, child 6 or 7 yr old girl of Maurice born abt 1883.

In’t gezin van Gustavson bij Maurice heeracht de keelziekte vrij erg. Zondag iseen zes of zevenjarig meisje er aan overleden.

Tanslated: In Gustavson’s family from Maurice, the throat disease is quite bad. A six or seven year old girl died on Sunday.
In the death record of Sioux county lists Mary W. Gusterson age 6 yrs 3 mo. died Apr 28, 1889

Every possible data base for Sioux county was searched to identify this child’s family to no avail. There is no 1890 census to reference. Her family was not noted in the 1885 or 1895 census. The family must have moved in and out of the county in that time period.
