WAS A FORMER ROCK VALLEY RESIDENT

Mira M. Ellis passed away in Pasadena, California, July 14, at the Lutheran Good Samaritan Hospital, after an illness of over a year.

Mira M. Crofoot was born in Olmstead County, Minnesota, January 15, 1860. She resided there and in Rochester, Minn., until her marriage to Ray Ellis, May 25, 1885. After their marriage, they located in Jackson County, Minn., and lived there until 1897 when they moved to Rock Valley. They lived here until November, 1917, when they moved to California. Mr. Ellis passed away in 1921, and their only child died Sept. 26, 1897.

After leaving Rock Valley, Mr. and Mrs. Ellis made their home in Pasadena, California, with the exception of two years, when they lived in Santa Ana, California, until death claimed them.

Funeral services were held for Mrs. Ellis on February[i.e., July] 17.
