Jeff Kramer age 68, of George, IA died Thursday, April 29, 2021, at his home in George, IA.

Public visitation with the family present will take place Sunday, May 2, 2021 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at the Jurrens Funeral Home of George, Iowa.

A private memorial service will take place Monday, May 3rd with Reverend John Pea officiating. Inurnment will follow at the Evergreen Lawn Cemetery of George.

Jeffrey Leon Kramer was born May 9, 1952 to George and Rosella (Harms) Kramer at the Sibley Hospital in Sibley, Iowa. Jeff was raised in George and graduated from George High School in 1970. On June 16, 1972 Jeff was united in marriage to Joyce Jean Hilbrands at the Matlock Reformed Church in Matlock, Iowa. At the beginning of their marriage they lived in Storm Lake until 1981. They moved to George, Iowa and raised their four children, Kelly, Troy, Dustin, and Kimberly. In the past Jeff was the owner of JJ's Tap, a carpenter, and worked at Sudengas Industry until his retirement in 2019. Jeff was a member of the Ebenezer Presbyterian Church in George. He enjoyed woodwork and tinkering in his shop on all sorts of projects. His family remembers him as a fun loving grandpa, feeding his pet ground squirrel, his joking and contagious sense of humor and being a loving/devoted husband/father/grandfather.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 48 years, Joyce; children, Kelly (Teresa) Kramer of Dell Rapids, SD, Troy Kramer of Evansville, WI, Dustin Kramer of George, IA, and Kimberly (Shane) Stettnichs of Longmont, CO; grandchildren, Cory, Kody, Taylor, Austin, Kyler, Pyper, Kasen, and Acelyn; sisters, Samantha Niemyer of George, IA and Bonnie (Lynal) Vallier of Boulder, CO; sister-in-law, Janice Kramer of George, IA; brother-in-law, Jim Keizer of Doon, IA; along with many extended relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Rosella; siblings, Jim Kramer, Patricia Keizer, Ted Kramer, Judy Smith; and brother in infancy, Tommy. Blessed Be His Memory.
