Mrs Herman Verhoef, who had her life with her daughter, Mr and Mrs Peter Herweynen, died unexpectedly on Thursday evening of a heart condition, Mrs Verhoef, (Nancy De Gooyer), was born Aug. 21, 1862, in the prov. Gelderland, she had reached the age of 79 years, 4 months and 1 days. She came to America at the age of 10. Was married Dec. 29, 1S81, in marriage with H. Verhoef.

Three children led her to death. Jan. 13, 1937, her husband died. The children still alive are Arie, Walter, Anna, John, William, Jim, Carrie, Nellie, and 20 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Hattie Pas.

The funeral home had on Monday afternoon here 1 15 at home, 1 30 ln the Ger. church. under the direction of Rev. J W Brink. The burial order had places in the cemetery at Sanborn. Mrs. Ray Smit and Mrs. Fred De Jong sang "What a Friend We Have in Jesus" and "Safe in the arms of Jesus."

Carriers were John, Will, Walter, Jim Herman J. and Herman W. Verhoef. The children who regret her departure are Walter, Sanborn, Mrs. A Dithmers Boyden, John Forest City, William, George, Jim Sanborn, Mrs. Peter Herwynen Boyden, Mrs. John Cassimeier Boyden and Mrs. Ike Struyk Boyden.
