Memorial services for Harold T. Boonstra 97, long time resident of Chicago Illinois originally of Sioux County, were held on Monday, Dec 17, at Hope Christian Reformed Church of Oak Forest Illinois.

Interment in a private ceremony was in Chapel Hills Garden South Cemetery in Oak Lawn, Illinois.
Visitation was held on Sunday afternoon and evening, Dec. 17, at Oakland Chapel in Orland Park Illinois.

Harold was a World War II US Army Air Corps veteran. He retired from a career as a chemist for Sherwin Williams. He was a choral director for more than 40 years at various churches.
Harold was beloved husband for 65 years to the late Ann Boonstra, nee Weidenaar 2012; loving father of Richard Trenal Booonstra, Jacqueline Archer and Janet Donald Kosmal; cherished grandfather of nine; dearest Great grandfather of 15; and dear brother of Mary Ellen Mouw, Rudy Boonstra and the late Robert Boonstra, Norman Boonstra and Lois Vogel.
