John Hohmann "Jack" Van Diepen

Funeral services for Jack H. Van Diepen of Sioux City, who died in a Sioux City Hospital after an illness of several months were held at 2 o’clock p.m. Wednesday at the Anderson Funeral Home. Reverend Thomas Bath officiated. Burial took place at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mr. Van Diepen was born July 27, 1907 in Chicago and moved to Boyden at the age of 13. He lived there until 1939.

Survivors are his wife, Ruth, his mother, Mrs. Elizabeth (Hohmann) Van Diepen of Boyden, seven brothers and three sisters, Thomas, Raymond and James of Boyden, Jacob of Sioux City, Harry of Cherokee, Richard of Sheldon, Siesta of Cincinnati, Mrs. Grace Webster and Mrs. Betty Foley, both of Sanborn, and Mrs. Sarah Shaken of Sioux City.
