Death here again demanded a victim, and that at the house of Mr. and Mrs. C. Van Roekel, where an eight-year-old son was torn from the elderly's heart. Quite accidentally last Friday the boy had to swap the timely with the eternal as a consequence of spinal menengites. On Monday, the funeral of the Ref Church took place under the attendance of a large crowd of interested people. Our deep sympathy is with the grieving parents. May they seek their comfort in Him, who has made himself known as the great Friend of the Child.
