FUNERAL SERVICE HELD JULY 6 FOR GEORGE D. SIEMAN, 89

Funeral services were held at the Sioux Center Co-operative Funeral Home at 10 A.M. July 6 for George D. Sieman, 89, of Sioux Center, who died July 2 at the Sioux Center Community Hospital. Burial was made in Sioux Center Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Mr. Sieman was born in Illinois November 10, 1881, and moved to Sioux Center as a child. He attended the local public school and later Iowa State Teachers College at Cedar Falls. He pursued the banking and realtor professions in Sioux Center for many years prior to his retirement.

Mr. Sieman was married to Johanna Beernink in Sioux Center December 31, 1907. She preceded him in death on November 20, 1968.

Survivors include a son, Myron W. of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; a daughter, Mrs. Vivian George of Waterloo; a sister, Mrs. Lillian Ott of San Bernardino, California.
