Mrs. Van Voorst Ella Boone Van Voorst passed away at her home at 335 7th St. S. W. on August 13. She was 67 years, 3 months and 29 days of age.

Ella Boone was born April 14, 1885 at Nun Spade (? Nunspeet) Netherlands. When she was 16 years of age she came to the USA to Orange City where she lived until 1944 when she moved to Le Mars. On January 5, 1906 she was married to Richard Van Voorst, Sr. at Orange City.

Funeral services will be held at the Mauer funeral chapel at 2:00 p. m. Saturday, August 16 with Rev. Peter Honderd officiating. Burial will be in the Maurice cemetery under direction of the Mauer funeral home. Rev. Honderd is pastor of the Chr. Ref. Church in Le Mars.

Survivors include her husband, 4 sons, Richard, John and Andrew of Le Mars: Donald of Flint Mi 4 daughters Mrs. Roy Dobbert of Seney, Mrs. Roy Dobbert of Seney, Mrs. Vaugh Campbell of Victor IA, Mrs. Jake Van Roekel of Hull and Mrs. Peter Droog of Gran Rapids MI 27 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by his parents, one son and one brother. She was a member of the Chr. Ref church of Le Mars.
