Mrs. VerMeer Dead

The sad intelligence was received by the family Tuesday that Mrs. E. Vermeer who was visiting in Michigan, had died. The cause of her death being her old Trouble, gall stones.

At this writing the remains have not arrived, but arrangement are being made for the funeral here Saturday. Mrs. VerMeer was a good neighborly lady and good wife and a mother who will be greatly missed by the children and the Index joins the many friends of the family in extending sincere sympathy.
