Weenink Rites will be Friday
Aged Resident passes Away at home of her son.
Mrs. Gerdina Weenink, a resident of Le Mars for the past nine years, passed away Wednesday at the home of her son Clarence Weenink at 127 First Ave. N. E. Mrs. Weenink had reached the advanced age of 78 years, 8 months and 26 days.
Gerdina Dresselhuys, daugther of Mr. and Mrs. C. F. Dresselhuys natives of the Netherlands was born in the Netherlands on Feb 19, 1863. She came to the Untied States at the age of 18, and came directly to this community. In 1892 she married F Frederick Weenink at Le mars. Mr. Weenink conducted a grain business at Carnes for 33 years. He died in 1915. Mrs. Weenink then moved to Sibley, and made her homes with her son Herman, until they moved to L Mars in 1930.

Surviving to mourn her passing are two sons, Herman G. and Clarence.
Four sisters, Hattie Dresselhuys, Mrs. Louis Dirks, Mrs. Will Kijker of Le Mars and Mrs. C. W. Edmonds of Overton NB; one Brother Clarence of Aberdeen Sd. There are also 2 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday afternoon at 1:30 p. m. from Wiltgen’s funeral home, and interment will be in the Orange City cemetery. Rev. F. P. Pfalizgraff will officiate at the services.
Pallbearers will be Minert, Jake and Clarence Hoorneman, Frank Hentges, William Veale and Ben Nicholson.
Two sisters and one brother preceded Mrs. Weenink in death.
