Elizabeth Van Den Top, 89, or Rock Valley died Wednesday in a hospital in Rock Valley. Services were held at 10:30 a.m. 'Saturday in the Netherlands Reformed Church in Rock Valley. The Rev. A.M. Den Boer officiated. Burial was in Valley View Cemetery.

Mrs. Van Den Top, the former ' Elizabeth Rozeboom, was born Nov. 18, 1895. in Ada, The Netherlands. She received her education in The Netherlands and came to the United States at age 18. She married Gerrit Van Den Top March 17, 1915, in Rock Valley. They farmed near Alvord and I wood. He died May 1. 1965. She moved to Rock Valley in 1967 and to Valley Manor Nursing Home in November 1984. Mrs. Van Den Top was a member of the Netherlands Reformed Church,

Survivors include four sons, Dick and Gerrit Jr., both of Canton, S.D.. George of Sioux Falls. S.D., and William of Rock Valley; three daughters. Alice Langstraat of Larchwood, Mrs. Gerald (Gertrude) Oostra of Sheldon, and Mrs. Ronald (Jennie) Brower of Ellsworth, Minn.; one brother. Gerrit of Alvord; one sister, Sophie Roskam of Rock Valley; 41 grandchildren; 81 greatgrandchildren and three greatgreat-grandchildren.
