John Uit de Flesch 79, of Alton died Feb 11 at an Orange City Hospital.

Services were at 10 a.m. Feb. 13 at the Alton First Reformed Church. The Rev. Clarence Greving officiated. Burial was in the Nassau Township Cemetery under the direction of the Memorial Funeral Home of Sioux Center.

Mr. Uit de Flesch was born June ll, 1896, in the Netherlands. He came to the United States in 1913. He married Jennie Van Der Grift Feb, 9, 1923 at Worthington, Minn. They lived near Worthington, Bigelow, Minn., and Hull and moved to Alton 45 years ago.

Survivors include the widow; three sons, Evert of Worthington, Henry of Renton, Wash., and Gerrit of South Sioux City; a daughter Miss Christina of Alton; a brother and a sister, both in The Netherlands; 20 grandchildren; and four greatgrandchildren.
