News reached here Wednesday of the death of Mrs. Louis Myers at the LeMars hospital. Many friends and relatives from Alton and vicinity attended the funeral which was held at Remsen on Wednesday. Mrs. Myers was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Schiltz of Alton and the news of her death caused great sadness among her multitude of friends here.
