Funeral Services Held For Mrs. Henry De Mots

Funeral services were held at the Central Reformed Church here at 10:30 a. m. July 2 for Mrs. Henry De Mots, 81, a resident of this community for more than 70 years, and former librarian of the Sioux Center Public Library, who died at a Sioux City hospital following a lengthy illness.

Services were conducted by the Reverend Albert H. Ten Clay and burial was made in the Sioux Center Community Cemetery with the Co-operative Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. De Mots, nee Alice Vander Zee, was born August 29, 1886, at Orange City. She moved to Sioux Center with her parents as a child. She was married to Henry De Mots here April 13, 1906.

Survivors include her widower; a son, Clifford, of Le Mars; two daughters, Vera De Mots of Los Angeles, California , and Mrs. R. J. Halverson of Spencer; six grandchildren, one great-grandchild, three sisters and three brothers.
