FUNERAL HELD JULY 7 FOR HERMAN ADDINK

Funeral services were held at Central Reformed Church here at 10:30 A.M. July 7 for Herman Addink, 89, retired Sioux Center farmer, who died July 4 at the Sioux Center Hospital.

The funeral services was conducted by the Reverend Jack Boerigter, pastor of the First Reformed Church of Sioux Center and burial was made in Sioux Center Community Cemetery under the direction of Vander Ploeg’s Funeral Home.

Mr. Addink was born at Sioux Center April 17, 1881 and was a lifelong resident of the community. He was married to Jane “Jannetje” Van’t Hull June 21, 1903, at Hull.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Joel (Alice) De Vos and Mrs. Fred (Gertrude) Zylstra; 12 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Note: Herman Addink parents are Hendrik W. and Gerritje (Ketelary) Addink.
