The death of one single member of a household is a sorrowful event, but when two members are called in quick succession, how heavy must be the burden? The afflicted mother, this father of the little boy, the widow, the wife of but a few weeks, all have the heartfelt sympathy of friends and neighbors. Stricken down in but a few days, the blow falls heavily indeed. The funeral services were held on Thursday in the Harwood school house by Rev. G. W. doty, a large number of friends accompanied the remains to their last resting place.
