Research note: From a report on Ancestry.com (by others) Abigail Williams Steinbarge was born 4 March 1807 Canada died 14 Nov 1873 Hull IA. She was the daughter of Providence Williams 1769-1817 and Abigail Hazeltine 1772. She married 24 March 1829 Shefford, Quebec Can. Husband listed at Barre (must have been John Steinbarge as first child born 1830.

In a report of John Barge born Apr 1805 Quebec Canada died 3 Apr 1856, (Illinois?) his parents were John Barge 1760 and Anna Noble 1767-1810. He married Abigail Williams 1807-1873. He was in the Canada British Army and Canadian Militia Muster Rolls,

Their children were Abigial 1830-1904, Frederick Hesslaton Steinbarge 1831-1889, Celucia 1834-1834, Rhoda Ann 1835-1868, Orrin 1838, Albert 1841 and Norman 1844.
