Robert J. Huie, father of our townsman, M.S. Huie, died at Polo, Ill., March 24th, as a result of a stroke of paralysis. M.S. Huie left immediately to attend the funeral. He returned home Monday. Mr. Huie was a veteran of the civil war and made his home with his son while here and made many friends during his sojourn in Rock Valley.
