Funeral services were held at Calvin Christian Reformed Church at Rock Valley at two P.M. October 12 for James Ver Berg, 56, of Rock Valley, who passed away October 8.

Services were conducted by the Reverend Johhn Engbers and burial was made in Valley View Cemetery at Rock Valley.

Mr. Ver Berg was born at Inwood June 3, 1915. He was married to the former Martha Veltkamp December 8, 1938, at Inwood. He was employed as a tractor mechanic in Rock Valley for many years.

Survivor include his widow; one son, Marion, of Rock Valley, Iowa; one daughter, Mrs. Bob (Glenda) Fikkert of Grand Rapids, Michigan; one brother, Bert, of Sunnyside, Washington; one sister, Mrs. John Harthoorn, of Inwood, Iowa; two grandchildren.
