DEWEY VELLINGA RITES HERE

Dewey Vellinga, 43, son of Mrs. Sarah Vellinga of Ireton died at his home at Wilmont, Minnesota at two o’clock A.M. Tuesday, September 17, 1957. Deceased was the son of the late Harry Vellinga and Mrs. Sarah Vellinga of Ireton and during his boyhood had lived in Ireton, Maurice and other Sioux County towns while his father worked on rhe C. & N.W. Railroad. He was married to Marjory Kuecker, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Kuecker of Maurice, who survives him.

Also surviving are three daughters, Florence, Alice and Carol all at home; two sisters, Mrs. John Vande Berg of Clements, Minnesota and Mrs. Harold Vande Hoef of Alvo, Nebraska; three brothers, Lawrence of Sioux Falls, Marion of Ireton and Joe of Tillamook, Oregon.

Funeral services were held at Rushmore, Minnesota, Friday, September 20 and the remains were brought to Ireton and interred in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
