Daughter of Frederick Boldenow 1840-1914 and Caroline Auls 1840-1918. Her husband was George Martin Schneider born 1 Mar 1869 Wachbach, Germany died 24 Feb 1929 Hawarden IA. His parents were Jacob Schneider 1845-1923 and Katherine M. Seibock 1846-1894. Children listed were Carl Martin 188, Sophie 1902, John 1904, George 1906 and Caroline 1913.

Caroline Schneider Dies At Age Of 84 Funeral services for Caroline Schneider, 84, were held in Trinity Lutheran church Wednesday with Rev. O. F. Pittack conducting the service. Interment was in Grace Hill cemetery with the Barnard Funeral home in charge, Mrs. Schneider, who had been a shut-in for a number of years, died early Monday morning at the Mapes Nursing home where she had been a resident since May, 1958. She was the only daughter of 10 children born to Mr. and Mrs. Fred Boldenow, She was born at Denham, Ind., on October 24, 1878 and accompanied her parents to O'Brien county, near Granville, Iowa, around 1895. Several years before the turn of the century she married George M, Schneider at Remsen, Iowa, and moved to Sioux county, north of Ireton. She and her husband also lived on a farm near Hudson, S. D., before they retired to Hawarden in about 1915. At the same time they became affiliated with the local Lutheran congregation. After the death of her husband in February, 1929, she continued to live in her home until about 1S65. The next few years she spent in the homes of her children. Preceding her in death, besides her husband, were one son, George, her parents, eight brothers and two grandchildren. Survivors include two sons, Carl and John Schneider of Hawarden two daughters, Sophia Peters and Caroline Christensen, Hawarden; one brother, Albert Boldenow of Kirkland, Wash.: 16 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
