Died: May 19, 1960Funeral services were held Monday, May 23, in the First Reformed Church of Hull for Lammert Van Sloten, 84, who passed away Thursday, May 19, at the Restmore Home in Rock Rapids.
The service was preceded by a prayer service at the Nick Slager home. Grandsons were pallbearers. Reverend H.C. Van Deelen officiated.
He was married to Jennie Humme, January 21, 1904, and they commemorated their golden wedding anniversary January 21, 1954. A few days after the anniversary, Mrs. Van Sloten had a heart attack and died at her home.
Survivors include six daughters, and one son, 20 grandchildren, five sisters and one brother.
