Research note: From a report on ancestry.com (by others) Herman A. Schroder was born Mar 1891 Boyden IA died Aug 1969 Boyden IA. He was married to Susie Viola Kammalade 1892-1976 in Lincoln Tsp South Dakota on 19 Dec 1913 , two children listed were Mildred Francis Schroder 1913-2009 and Evelyn Emma Schroder 1915-1994.

1900 census lists Herman as son of John Schroeder age 57 born Mar 1848 Germany and wife Emma born Aug 1853 Germandy, Herman was 9 and had 5 bros and sister at the time.
