RITES HELD FOR FREDA BALL, 65

Funeral services for Miss Freda Ball, 65, who died Tuesday of last week in the home of her cousin, Mrs. Roy Swanson of the Hawarden vicinity, were held at 2 P.M. last Friday in the United Brethren Church northwest of Akron in Union County, South Dakota. Donald Lange officiated and burial was in the church cemetery.

Miss Ball was born January 9, 1894, at Ireton. She moved to Union County with her parents as a child. She taught in the rural schools from 1935 to 1945 when she moved to Los Angeles, California. She returned to Hawarden about a month ago due to ill health.

Surviving are three brothers - Richard, Harry, and Julius all of Akron, a half-brother, brother Aldoph Busch of Lemon California, and three half - sisters - Mrs. Verla Ludwig, Miss Verga Busch and Miss Erma Busch all of Akron.
