VAN KEKERIX PASSES AWAY

Jim Van Kekerix, 51, of Sheldon died September 15, in Lincoln, Nebraska, of an apparent heart attack.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, September 19, in the Porter Funeral Home with the Reverend Jack Van Kekerix officiating.

William Koedam, James Koedam, John Groen, Clarence Groen, Bert Van Kekerix and William Klarenbeek served as pallbearers. Burial was held in the Valley View Cemetery under the direction of Porter Funeral Home.

He was born December 3, 1920 in Sioux County and married Marie Blom December, 1942 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Mr. Van Kekerix was the custodian at the Sheldon Library for the last four years.

Survivors are the widow; son, Marvin of Lincoln; parents, Sam and Martha (Koedam) Van Kekerix of Rock Valley; sisters, Mrs. Ben Eppinga and Mrs. William Post of Rock Valley; two grandchildren.
