Grace Van Hofwegen, 64, died Wednesday, February 16, 1994, in the Hegg Memorial Hospital in Rock Valley.

Grace Boon was born August 8, 1929, in Lyon County, Iowa. She married Marinus Van Hofwegen on Feb. 2, 1951, in Rock Valley. They farmed for 21 years near Colton, seven years near Edgerton, Minnesota, before moving to Rock Valley in 1979.

She was a member of Faith Circle of the Calvin Christian Reformed Church in Rock Valley.

Survivors include her husband, Marinus of Rock Valley; one son, Vern of Cleveland, Ohio; one daughter, Mrs. Konrad (Dawn) Post of Rock Valley; five brothers: Andrew, Elmer and John, both of Rock Valley; Ben of Rock Rapids, Iowa; Marvin of Schofield, Wisconsin; and five sisters: Mrs. Herman (Mary) Steensma of Byron Center, Michigan; Gert Van Engen and Mrs. Dale (Hilda) Vink, both of Rock Valley; Mrs. Bernard (Martha) De Jager of Edgerion; and Mrs. Virgil (Joan) Horstman of Hull, Iowa.

Services were held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the Calvin Christian Reformed Church in Rock Valley, with burial in Valley View Cemetery.

Porter Funeral Home of Rock Valley was in charge of arrangements.
