Roger Van Meeteren, 71 of Palmdale Calif died Jan 31, 2004 at Antelope Valley Hospital Lancaster CA. Memorial services will be conducted Tuesday June 15, at 11 am at Riverview Cemetery, Rock Rapids IA.

Mr. Van Meeteren was born De 3, 1932 in Boyden IA, the son of cordy and Mona Van Diepen Van Meeteren. On Sept. 7, 1954 he married Shirley Stubbe, He owned and operated Van Maaten Plumbing & Heating in Rock Rapids several years. On July 20 1974 he married Cathy Tille. They lived in California and Iowa Settling in Palmdale in 1997.

Survivors include his wife; one son Tony; two granddaughters; nine brothers, Ron, Pete, Arnie, Dan, Mark, Cory and Terry all of California, Monte of Canton SD, and Mike of Nyssa OR, and three sisters, Frances Kosters of Cypress TX, Mrs. Burdell Marlys Symens of Heron Lake MN, and Mrs. Jerry Ruth Kroon of Sheldon. He was preceded in death by his parents and first wife.
