Mr. William J. Vander Wilt of Hull, Iowa, passed away Saturday evening, February 13, 1965 at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Frances Vander Berg.

He had reached the age of 78 when he was called to be with his Lord. Mr. Vander Wilt was a faithful member of the First Reformed Church of Hull.

Mr. Vander Wilt was born near Middleburg, Iowa on June 1, 1886 to Mr. and Mrs. John Vander Wilt.

He was married to Nellie Gunnink on December 24, 1906. She preceded him in death on July 27, 1962. They spent most of their life on a farm near Hull and moved to Hull in 1942 upon retirement.

To this union seven children were born, all of whom survive. They are: one son, John; and six daughters, Henrietta, Sophia, Frances, Adrianna, Arnetta and Carole.

Also surviving are 25 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren; one brother, A.J., three sisters, Mrs. A.M. Van Wyk and Mrs. Frank Bomgaars, and Mrs. Adolph Boer, two step-sisters, Mrs. Nick Bomgaars and Mrs. John De Zeeuw and one step-brother, Henry.

One sister, Kate, preceded him in death.
