Tony Vander Wilt, 81, Orange City, died Friday at his home after an illness of several months.

Services were at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the American Reformed Church in Hull with the Reverend M. Paul Vander Woude officiating. Burial was in Hope Cemetery in Hull under direction of the Kraai Funeral Home of Hull.

Mr. Vander Wilt was born June 15, 1895, in Boyden, son of Antonie and Minnie (Holster) Vander Wilt. He married Minnie Kosters February 7, 1923, and they farmed in the Boyden-Hull area until retiring in 1950 and moving to Hull. He moved to Orange City this month.

Mr. Vander Wilt served during World War I and was a member of the American Reformed Church of Hull.

Survivors include the widow; two sons, Marvin of Boyden and Clifford of Sheldon; two daughters, Mrs. Mario (Muriel) De Jongh of Kansas City, Kansas, and Mrs. Jerry (Marlys) Ten Haken of Beloit, Wisconsin; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Herman (Kathryn) De Haan of Orange City.
