Mrs. Chris Schlebout Sioux Center-Mrs. Chris Schiebout, 88, Sioux Center, died Saturday at a hospital here of a brief illness. Services were at 1:30 today in Bethel Christian Reformed Church. The Rev. Henry Vanden Heuvel officiated. Burial was in Memory Gardens Cemetery under direction of the Vander Ploeg Funeral Home of Sioux Center.

Mrs. Schiebout, the former Lena DeGroot, 'was born August 27, 1888, in Harrison, S.D. She married Feb. 17, 1909, in Rock Valley. Mr. Schiebout died August 24, 1956, in Sioux Center.

Survivors include seven sons, Ferdinand of Greensboro, N.C., Joe of Baton Rouge, La., Gerret of Pella, Abe of Orange City, Ben of Hospers and Chris and Conn, both of Grand Rapids, Mich.; two daughters, Mrs. Lorance (Dinah) Terhorst of ireton and Mrs. Chris (Anna) Gesink of Wayland, Mich., a brother, William of Sioux Center; a sister, Mrs. Arthur (Gertrude) Nelson of Omaha; 33 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren.
