Funeral Services Held For Mrs. Peter Vander Schaaf

Funeral services for Mrs. Peter Vander Schaaf, 63, who died Saturday, will be held at 2 p m Wednesday at the Protestant Reformed Church.

Mrs. Vander Schaaf had undergone surgery at a hospital in Mountain Lake, Minnesota and seemed to be recovering nicely. On Saturday afternoon a blood clot developed which caused her death very unexpectedly. Mrs. Tom Van Maanen was the only member, of the family present at the time of her death.

Surviving are three children, Mrs. Fred Van Engen of Hull, Mr. Dowie Vander Schaaf of Newago, Michigan, and Mrs. Tom Van Maanen, of Doon; four grandchildren and the mother, Mrs. H. Rikkers of Hull.

Other survivors are five sisters, Mrs. Alice Nyenhuis of Hull; Mrs. Cena Nyenhuis of Rock Rapids; Mrs. Art Spronk of Edgerton, Minnesota, and two brothers, Gerrit and Frank Van Pykeren both of Hull.

Her husband, Peter VanderSchaaf preceded her in death June 18, 1952.
