Died: 1978Nicholas "Nick" Bakker, 88, Rock Valley Nursing Home of a long illness.
Services were held Monday in the First Christian Reformed Church. The Reverend Paul Bakker officiated. Burial was at Valley View Cemetery under the direction of Porter Funeral Home.
Mr. Bakker was born June 28, 1890, in The Netherlands. He served in World War I and was a retired farmer.
Survivors include three sisters, Mrs. Albert (Bena) Heerema of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Mrs. Case (Hattie) Blomendaal of Doon and Mrs. Sam Gertrude) Veltkamp of Rock Valley.
