Funeral services were held at the Calvin Christian Reformed Church in Rock Valley at 1:30 P.M. June 17 for Mrs. Dale Bakker, 23, who died June 13, at a Sioux City Hospital following a brief illness.

Services were conducted by the Reverend John Engbers and burial was made at the Amsterdam Cemetery at Kanawha, Iowa.

The former Nadine Katuin was born May 12, 1945 at Kanawha. She was married August 12, 1966 to Dale Bakker and taught school at Rock Valley. She formerly taught at Ireton. Prior to entering teaching she attended Dordt College.

Survivors include the husband, two newborn infant daughters Sandra Nadine and Brenda Nadine; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dick Katuin of Kanawha; two brothers - Richard and Donald of Kanawha, Iowa.
