Mrs.Gerrit Vander Plaats, 43 years, passed away at the Sioux Center Hospital Saturday.

Funeral services were held Tuesday from the Kraai Funeral Home at 1:30 P.M. and 2 o'clock from the First Christian Reformed Church with Reverend Gysbert Rozenboom officiating.

Frieda De Vries was born May 16,1919. She married Gerrit Vander Plaats on August 16, 1944 in Hull, Iowa.

Surviving are the husband, Reverend Gerrit Vander Plaats, and six children, all at home, David, Alyda, Robert, Judy, Cheryl and Gary; her mother, Mrs. Alice (Koppedrajer) De Vries; and one sister, Mrs. Ed W. Dykstra of Hull.
