Funeral services were held at the First Reformed Church at Hull at 1:30 P.M. Wednesday, June 6, for Mrs. Charles Vander Meer, 77 of Hull, who died June 4, at the Sioux Center Community Hospital.

Services were conducted by the Reverend David Ter Beest and burial was made in Hope Cemetery.

Mrs. Vander Meer, nee Kate Doeksen, was born in Boyden February 28, 1890. She was married to Charles Vander Meer at Hull February 13, 1913.

Survivors include the widower; three sons - Roy of Omaha, Nebraska, Willis of Rockford, Illinois, and Bob of Las Vegas, New Mexico; four sisters, Mrs. Tunis Narra of Hull, Mrs. Nellie Vander Meer, and Mrs. Bert Lubbers, both of Orange City and Miss Marie Doeksen of Sioux City; three brothers, Gerrit of Grandon, North Dakota, Arie of Minot, North Dakota and Ray of Northville, Michigan; and one grandchild.

Note: Kate Vander Meer's parents were William and Tryntje (DeBoer) Doeksen.
