Parents were John Rust 1773 and Mary Towle 1770-1828, The wife listed was Mary Steward 1811 and children were Mary Rust 1838-1839, Mary Lucinda Rust 1848-1907 and William C. rust 1850. His marriage to Mary Steward was Nov 1836 in Waitsfield VT, report indicates he dies at Marcellus, however, there is a tombstone in the Rock Valley - Valley View cemetery Rock Valley IA.
