MRS. J. W. VANDERBURG

Services for Mrs. John W. Vanderburg, 92, will occur at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Locke Funeral Home with the Reverend Leroy E. Bauman, pastor of Kimball Avenue, United Methodist Church, of which she was a member, officiating.

A second service is set for 1:30 p.m. Saturday at First Christian Reformed Church at Orange City with the pastor, the Reverend R. H. Tjapkes, officiating. Burial will be in Westlawn Cemetery at Orange City.

Mrs. Vanderburg, who had resided her with a daughter, Mrs. T. E. Stevens of 224 Berkshire Road, died of complications of age at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at Parkview Gardens Nursing Home, where she had lived for the past two years.

The former Adriana Brink, she was born December 14, 1876, at Orange City to John and Marie Kools Brink and was married to John W. Vanderburg there on December 11, 1901.

In addition to Mrs. Stevens, Mrs. Vanderburg is survived by two other daughters: Mmes. Gordon Howes of Costa Mesa, California, and Richard Romberg of Norwalk, California; a son, Willis G. Vanderburg of Shell Rock; 13 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son, five brothers and two sisters.

Friends may call after 6 p.m. Thursday at the Locke Funeral Home.
