Mr. Koop Weichers passed away on Saturday afternoon, June 22nd, after having been hospitalized for about four days.

Mr. Weichers was born on a farm near Sioux Center on March 17, 1888, and passed away in the Hull hospital on June 22nd, 1946. He had been a farmer all his life and always lived with a brother, Ralph Weichers.

Funeral services were held at the John Weichers home at 1:30 and at 2:00 o'clock in the Christian Reformed Church at Lebanon. Interment was in the Lebanon Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Henry Elbers, Jake Elbers, Gerrit Kastein, Henry Te Stroote, Andres Vanden Berg and John Vanden Berg.

Mrs. Weichers leaves to mourn his departure one brother, Ralph Weichers and one sister, Mrs, Case Elbers of Hull. Those preceding him in death were his mother on February 16, 1914, his father on February, 1927; two sisters, Mrs. William Vreeman of Corsica, South Dakota and Mrs. Jennie Vanden Berg of Hospers, Iowa; also two brothers who died in infancy.
