Peter Wielenga, 74, Sioux Center, Iowa, died December 27 at Sioux Center Hospital.

The funeral was at 10 a.m. December 30 at the First Christian Reformed Church in Sioux Center. Dr. P.Y. De Jong officiated. Burial was in Valley View Cemetery at Rock Valley under direction of the Cooperative Funeral Home in Sioux Center.

Mr. Wielenga was born April 3, 1898, in The Netherlands, and came to the United States in 1911.

He married Lydia Vanden Bosch February 22, 1920 at Rock Valley. They moved to Sioux Center and to Raleigh, North Carolina in 1972.

Survivors include the widow: a son, Jake, of Redlands, California; daughters: Mrs. John Van Voorst of Sioux Center, Mrs. Gene Hanson of Raymond, Washington, Mrs. James Tamminga of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Mrs. Henry Van Bemmel of Doon; brothers Jake of Redlands, California, Dan of Buena Park, California, a sister, Mrs. Anna Dykstra of Sibley, 19 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
