A telegram was sent here Sunday night to the Reiter family saying their son Joe was very sick at Camp Dodge. Mrs. Reiter and Mrs. and Mrs. Joe Brandenburg left on Monday for Camp Dodge but before they got there Joe had died so they did not get to see him living. The body arrived here on Wednesday at 6 o’clock p.m. The funeral was held this Friday morning at 10 o’clock at the Catholic church. The deceased left in the last draft and he is the first boy to be lost form this community.
