Word was received here Sunday that Cedric Werkhoven met with an accident at Rock Rapids Saturday and was thrown from a truck to the pavement receiving a fractured skull which resulted in his death the following day.

He was brought here Wednesday and his funeral took place at the Methodist Church at 2 P. M.

He was interred in Valley View Cemetery.

He was raised in this community and was held in the highest esteem. He was married to Elta Irene Siebert June 25, 1921.

He leaves a wife, and babe, father and mother, Jelle and Mary (Trigg) Werkhoven and two brothers to mourn his passing.
