From the Rock Valley Bee, July 27, 1934:

Mr. and Mrs. Gerrit Peters of Sioux Center mourn the death of their little girl, Helen Harriet, who was born Sunday and lived only four hours. Their friends in Rock Valley extend sympathy to them in their sorrow. The remains were taken to Valley View Cemetery where services were held and the little form laid to rest.

From the Sioux Center News, July 26, 1934:

Mr. and Mrs. Gerrit Peters were bereaved by the death of their infant daughter. She died Sunday a few hours after her birth. The baby was buried Tuesday in the Rock Valley Cemetery with short services being conducted at the Vander Ploeg funeral parlors and at the cemetery by Revs. J. M. Dykstra and Gritters of Rock Valley.

Her death certificate has Helen Harriet Peters, born and died in Sioux Center on July 22, 1934, lived 6 hours; parents Gerrit Peters, born in Corsica, S.D., and Clara Dykstra, born in Platte, S.D.; died at 6:30 p.m. July 22, 1934; cause, premature birth; buried July 23 at Rock Valley.
