Funeral services for Marlo A. Waterman were held at Trinity Lutheran Church in Hawarden last Saturdayat 1:00 P.M. with Reverend O.F. Pittack officiating. Burial was in Grace Hill Cemetery under the direction of Dow Funeral Home. Marlo tragically lost his life in an auto accident, north of Hawarden, Iowa on the South Dakota side.

Mrs. William Hill was organist as the church choir sang "Thou Ary the Way" and "Jesus, Lover of My Soul." Casket bearers were Larr Waterman, Frank Schuller, Steve McKee, Charles Hughes, Dave Millikan, Ronald Renken, and Terry Renken.

Marlo Waterman was born July 6, 1948 in Hawarden.

He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Waterman, Jr.; seven brothers: Myron of Kingstown, Rhode Island, Steven of Lennox, South Dakota, and Ricky, Stuart, Rocky, Marty and John of Hawarden; four sisters, Mrs. Dave Millikan, Janie, Anna Marie, and Jenyce, all of Hawarden, and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Renken of Ireton and Mr. and Mrs. Merlyn Waterman of Hawarden.
