OBITUARY OF THE LATE MRS. JOHN J. WARNTJES

Mrs. John J. Warntjes, nee Marie Van Maanen, was born to the union of Henry Van Maanen and Lucy Brunsting on October 11, 1903 at Hull, Iowa.

He grew up in this vicinity and was united in marriage to John J. Warntjes on December 25, 1928 by the Reverend C. Huissen.

To this union 3 children were born: Lucille, Mrs. Melvin Van Otterloo; John and Marvin, all of Hull, Iowa.

Upon their son John's discharge from the Army in 1956, Mr. and Mrs. Warntjes moved into town where they resided until her death on February 6, 1965 after a short but severe illness.

She made confession of her faith in the First Christian Reformed Church of Hull and remained a faithful and loyal member to her death.

She leaves to mourn her passing, her husband John, daughter Lucille, two sons, John and Marvin, and eleven grandchildren.

Also three brothers and five sisters: Albert, Gary and Henry Jr. Van Maanen, Mrs. Hattie Lyons, Mrs. Grace Davis, Mrs. Gertrude Vander Laan, Mrs. Lucile Crandall, all of California, and Mrs. Jeanette Post of Orange City, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters.
