Peter Hendriks Wallinga, one of the pioneers of this section of the county, passed away at his home north of Hull, in Lyon County, of a heart attack on Tuesday morning, November 16th. He had been ill only a few days and was feeling much better just before the attack.

Peter married Delia Merrill on February 26, 1910 in Hull, Iowa. Mr. Wallinga was one of the most progressive of farmers, and for the past few years was a member of the Lyon County Board of Supervisors and was its chairman last year. He was 52 last June.

He is survived by his wife and four children, three daughters-- Mrs. John Bomgaars, Miss Mildred and Miss Harriet; one son--Merrill; one grandchild and three brothers--John, Harry and Henry.

The funeral will be held Friday afternoon, at 1:30 from the home and at 2:00 from the First Reformed Church of Hull, his pastor Reverend R.A. Jager officiating.
