Funeral services for Mrs. Charles H. Walcott, 46, Sioux City, were held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday morning, April 27, at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. The Rt. Reverend Newman Flanagan officiated. Burial was in St, Mary’s Cemetery, Rock Valley.

Mrs. Walcott died Monday morning, April 25, at a Sioux City Hospital after a long illness.

Mrs. Walcott, the former Madeline K. Wyffels, was born October 2, 1919, at Rock Valley. She attended Nebraska State Teachers College and the University of Iowa and graduated from Morningside College. She taught kindergarten in the Sioux City schools until her marriage to Charles H. Walcott on April 6, 1963, in Omaha.

Mrs. Walcott was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, the American University Women Delta Kappa Gamma, Alpha Kappa Delta, the Catholic Daughters of America and St. Joseph Hospital Auxiliary. She was kindergarten consultant for Scott Foresman and Company, Chicago.

Survivors include the widower; two brothers, Ed and John Wyffels, both of Rock Valley; five sisters, Miss Mildred Wyffels, Mrs. Walcott’s twin, and Miss Loretta Wyffels, both of Sioux City, Mrs. Irene Ranschau, Rock Valley and the Misses Helen and Margaret Wyffels, both of Rock Valley.
