Mr. Marvin Vis, age 53, of Hull, passed away on Friday, July 19, 2019, at Sioux Center Health.

There will be a private family service on Wednesday, July 24. The Rev. Verlyn Boone will officiate. Interment will take place at the Hope Cemetery in Hull.

Arrangements are with the Oolman Funeral Home in Hull.

Those who loved him dearly include his mother, Mae Vis, of Hull; his three children, Kaleb Vis, Riley Vis, and Jamie Curiel, all of Hull; two grandchildren, Zoe and Parker Curiel, of Hull; a brother and his wife, Paul and Lora Vis, of Hull; three sisters, Peggy, and her husband, Glenn Koele, of Hull; Carla Koster, of Eden Prairie, Minnesota; and Donna, and her husband, Gary Van Hout, of Big Stone, South Dakota; ten nieces and nephews (whom he enjoyed bowling with); and nineteen great-nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Clayton W. Vis, who he shared much of his time with.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the American State Bank, Post Office Box 806; Hull, Iowa 51239, attention Marv Vis’ monument.
