Funeral Held for Mrs. Gerrit Punt Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m., August 10, at the First Reformed church of Sioux Center, for Mrs. Gerrit Punt, who died Wednesday at the Grossmann Hospital in Orange City. She had reached the age of 94 years, 0 months and 7 days. Services were conducted by Rev. Harry Brower and Rev. John Hoggen. Burial was made in Sioux Center Community Cemetery with Co-op Funeral Service in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Punt, nee Irene Helen Van. Dis, was born February 6. 1863, Jn the Netherlands, and came to America at the age of 24. She was united in marriage to Gerrit Punt in April of 1891 at Sioux Center. They moved to a farm west of Sioux Center, where they lived until their retirement in 1916. Surviving are two sons, Lane and Arie, both of Sioux Center; 10 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her husband, Gerrit; a son, Neal, and two grandchildren. Mrs. Punt was a member of the First Reformed church of Sioux Center
